Balochistan’s Healthcare Overhaul: 10 Hospitals to Transition into Public-Private Partnership Mode-Notification

Subject: CONVERTING OF 10 (TEN) HOSPITALS INTO PPP MODE ACROSS BALOCHISTAN.

The undersigned is directed to enclose herewith a copy of letter No.Dir­-Project (BPPPA)/2024/1-250-1/244, dated 5^th August, 2024, received from Government of Balochistan. Baluchistan Public Private Partnership Authority, on the above noted subject and to  state that the Hon’ble Chief Minister Baluchistan has desired to explore conversion of (10) hospitals including Trauma Centres at Zhob and Khuzdar on precedence basis into PPP mode.

2.            In order to analyze the project under PPP mode and explore operationalization of the hospitals. Following details are required:

1. Services available
2. Staff strength, educational qualification and experience
3. Equipment and machinery available for all services
4. Detail of existing facility i.e. number of rooms, wards, emergency rooms. OT, ICU, NICU
5. Current budget including break-up with HR cost, equipment etc.
6. Any major infrastructure upgradation required?
7. Pictures of the facilities
8. Detail of patients visits / data for last 2-3 years.
9. Possibility of payment through Balochistan Health Card
10. Financial Data (Revenue sources, insurance partnerships. and billing practices)

3_..       In view of the above, it is requested that requisite information / data, complete in respect, may be provided to this department as well as Director Projects, Private Partnership Authority by 26^th August, 2024 positively.
