NOTIFICATION

No. SORI(SGA&CD)2-30/2010(5-13/P-II):- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 26 of the Sindh Public Procurement Act, 2009, the Government of Sindh are pleased to make the following amendments in the Sindh Public Procurement Rules, 2010:-

AMENDMENTS

  1. In rule 17, in sub-rule (1), for the word “three”, the word “five” shall be substituted.
  2. In rule 32. after sub-rule (3), the following new sub-rule shall be inserted:-

“(3-A) – The quorum of the Review Committee shall be fifty percent of the total membership of the Committee including at least one private member of Board”.

“(6) The bid security shall be released to the unsuccessful bidders within seven days, once the contract has been signed with the successful bidder or the validity period has expired”.

“Provided that the bidder shall be on Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) or Sindh Revenue Board (SRB), as the case may be, failing to which the bidder shall not be eligible to take part in bid; and”.
