No. S&GAD/G-7(16)/2013: The President, Azad Jammu & Kashmir has been pleased to accord approval for observance of public holidays from 16th to 17th July, 2024 (Tuesday & Wednesday) on the occasion of Ashura (9th & 10th Moharram 1446 A.H). except offices/ officers, officials who are required to provide essential services i.e. District Administration, Police, Health, Rescue 1122, Civil Defence & Municipal staff etc.
