SUBJECT: TAKING URGENT PREVENTIVE MEASURES FOR DILAPIDATED SCHOOL BUILDINGS/ CLASSROOMS DURING MONSOON SEASON
I am directed to refer the subject noted above and inform that after summer vacations schools have been re-opened and at the same time severe monsoon spell is going and is forecasted during coming days as well. Keeping in view above position you are hereby instructed to make it ensure that in attempt to save precious lives and avoid any untoward incident the classes be not commenced/ started in dilapidated school buildings/ classrooms.
You are further advised that report of such dilapidated school building., class rooms should immediately be intimated to the concerned Executive Engineers (EXNs), Superintendent Engineers and Chief Engineers.
