OFFICE ORDER
Subject:- GRANT OF PROJECT ALLOWANCE
Ref:- This Division’s 00 No FO(B&P)/3-63(A)N01-8/671-770 dated 20 09 2019
In continuation to above referred order, the Authority has been pleased to rename the existing Construction Development Allowance as Project Allowance alongwith following amendments regarding admissibility of said allowance:-
i- The Project Allowance, as per rate notified vide this division’s O.O under reference, will only be admissible at the development stage of the project, whereas, employees of completed projects will be entitled to Generation Allowance @ 20% of pay subject to maximum of Rs 20,000/. P.M and Hard Area Allowance at half of existing rate as per zone of the projects in lieu of Operation Hardship Allowance
ii. a. The existing employees of respective projects will be allowed Project Allowance as per zone wise rates of the projects and same will be frozen at drawn level for those getting said allowance beyond the specified maximum ceiling
b. The employees of liaison offices (Other than PD offices) of relevant projects will be allowed Project Allowance at half rate of Project Allowance of relevant zone and same will be frozen at drawn level for those getting said allowance beyond the half of specified maximum ceiling.
iii. The employees newly posted/transferred to the projects will be allowed Project Allowance as per existing rate subject to following maximum ceiling:-

iv.Theemployees newly posted/transferred to liaison offices (Other than PD offices) of the relevant projects will be allowed Project Allowance at half rate of Project Allowance of relevant zone subject to maximum of half of above ceiling or Liaison Office Allowance at par of Head Office Allowance whichever is beneficial.
v. Project Allowance allowed to specific category of employees or offices on protection basis vide Office Order under reference is hereby discontinued.
