Transparency in Scholarship Exams: Directorate Orders Inspection of ETEA Test Centres:

The Directorate of Elementary and Secondary Education, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar, has issued an official notification concerning the inspection of ETEA Scholarship Test Centres for Phase-II of the scholarship tests scheduled for January 18th and 19th, 2025. This initiative is part of the ETEA Scholarship Scheme aimed at providing access to quality education for underprivileged yet talented students by securing their admission to the Centres of Excellence for the year 2025. The scheme demonstrates the government’s commitment to fostering academic excellence and empowering students from disadvantaged backgrounds to realize their potential.

To ensure transparency and prevent malpractice during the scholarship tests, the Directorate has directed District Education Officers (DEOs), Sub-Divisional Education Officers (SDEOs), Assistant District Education Officers (ADEOs), and Assistant Sub-Divisional Education Officers (ASDEOs) to visit the designated test centers in their respective districts of Kohat, D.I. Khan, and Swat. These visits are crucial for monitoring and addressing issues such as impersonation and ensuring the integrity of the examination process. Officials are also required to compile detailed reports supported by pictures and videos and share them with the Directorate for assessment and documentation.

               I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to enclose herewith the Phase-Il Scheduled tests for 18th – 19th January 2025, for admission to Class 7th to the Centres of Excellence 2025 under the ETEA Scholarships Scheme for Poor & Talented Students and the Nomination List for ETEA Test Inspection of your respective districts for your perusal and further necessary action.

               I am further directed to ask you to visit your respective districts test centres in time and dates to check the impersonation cases in the light of scheduled test and the Nomination List for ETEA Test Inspection of your respective districts and prepare your visit reports with pictures and videos, for sharing with the Worthy Director in black and white, and proper way as desired, please.
