KPK Education Sector: Cancellation of Detailment Orders to Streamline Staff Deployment:
The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is committed to ensuring transparency, efficiency, and discipline in the education sector. In line with this objective, the Directorate of Elementary & Secondary Education has issued a directive following the Chief Minister’s instructions to cancel all detailment orders across the province, including in merged districts. This decision was taken in a high-level meeting chaired by the Honorable Chief Minister on 13th December 2024, aiming to streamline the deployment of teaching and administrative staff within the education system. Detailment, which refers to the temporary reassignment of employees to positions outside their original postings, often disrupts the standard functioning of educational institutions and creates staffing imbalances. By enforcing the cancellation of all such orders, the government aims to restore fairness in teacher placements and ensure that all schools receive their required personnel without undue administrative adjustments. District Education Officers (Male & Female) have been instructed to comply with this directive and provide immediate confirmation to the Directorate of Elementary & Secondary Education.     I am directed to refer to the minutes of a meeting held on 13-12-2024 under the chairmanship of the Honorable Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on the subject cited above and to ask you to cancel all the detailments made in your respective districts under intimation to this office please.
