Punjab Government Takes Action on SSC Exam Paper Leak – Exam Postponed:
The Higher Education Department, Government of Punjab, has taken strict action following complaints regarding the circulation of guess papers near two examination centers under the Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BISE) Gujranwala. The leak concerns the Tarjamat-ul-Quran paper, which was scheduled to be conducted in the Evening Session on March 11, 2025.
As a precautionary measure, BISE Gujranwala has officially postponed the Tarjamat-ul-Quran exam, along with Ethics (New & Old Course) for non-Muslim students, which were part of the SSC 1st Annual Examination 2025.
The Chief Minister of Punjab has taken serious notice of the incident and has directed the formation of a High-Powered Committee to thoroughly investigate the matter. If any officials or individuals are found guilty of negligence or collusion, strict disciplinary action will be taken against them.
Students and parents are advised to stay updated with official announcements regarding the rescheduled exam dates.

The Higher Education Department, Govt. of the Punjab, received complaints of two examination centers in the jurisdiction of Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Gujranwala regarding the circulation of “guess paper” in the vicinity of aforesaid centers for the subject of Tarjamat-ul-Quran, which is likely to be conducted in the evening session on 11.03.2025. Accordingly, Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Gujranwala has postponed the paper of Tarjamat-ul-Quran. Ethics (for non-Muslim students) new course, Ethics (for non-Muslim students) old course, to the extent of SSC 1st Annual Examination, 2025 Evening Session scheduled to be held on 11.03.2025 in BISE, Gujranwala
Furthermore, Chief Minister has taken the cognizance of matter and has directed the department to constitute a High Powered Committee to investigate the matter thoroughly and take strict punitive action(s) against the delinquents, if their negligence / collusion is proven as the result of the inquiry.
