SUBJECT: LIFTING OF BAN ON MAJOR DECISIONS BY THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF MEDICAL TEACHING INSTITUTIONS
I am directed to refer to this Department’s letter No. SO(MTIs)/HD/1-1/Gen/2024 dated 08-03-2024 and to state that the Honorable Minister for Health is pleased to lift ban on major decisions of Board of Governors of all Medical Teaching Institutions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, effective immediately.
This decision has been taken after thorough review and consideration of the current administrative and operational requirements of the Medical Teaching Institutions. The Board of Governors is now fully authorized to resume their functions and take decisions on all major matters as per Act/rules.
