Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government Forms Committee to Resolve Membership Issues at Dera and Tank Press Clubs-Notification

Subject:    ESTABLISHMENT OF A COMMITTEE AND SUBMITTING FINAL REPORT FOR INVESTIGATING MEMBERSHIP PROVISION FOR WORKING JOURNALISTS AT DERA PRESS CLUB AND DISTRICT PRESS CLUB TANK

I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to enclose here with a self-explanatory letter received by this department with directives of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to form a committee headed by president of Peshawar Press Club being chairman of the DRC, president of Khyber Union of Journalists (KUJ), Deputy Commissioner D.I Khan, Deputy Commissioner Tank and the Regional Information Officer, RIO, D.I Khan as members, to look into the membership cases of DI Khan and Tank Press Clubs, as per their respective constitutions.

You are therefore, requested to schedule a visit to the two districts and help resolve the issue in both the press clubs.

Since the matter needs immediate attention therefore, in case the president Peshawar Press Club can’t spare time, he may nominate a senior most journalist as his representative to head the DRC, please.
