Subject: INSPECTIONS BY DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION AND LINE DEPARTMENTS RELATED TO INDUSTRIAL AND BUSINESS UNITS
Dear Sir,
I am directed to refer to the subject noted above to state that business community during an interactive session held on 12 September, 2024 at CM House Peshawar apprised Hon’ble Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa about mode of inspections of the industrial units being carried out by officers of District Administration. The quantum of LEAs personnel and officials of regulatory departments accompanying the inspection teams creates unrest and intimidating effects on the staff working there as well as on the owners of these units.
I am further directed to convey that Hon’ble Chief Minister while taking notice of afore-mentioned facts and in order to resolve the genuine concerns of business community, issued direction that officers of District Administration, while implementing the government directives and other official obligations, shall take utmost care during field inspections of business/industrial units. Furthermore, the officers may beadvised to avoid use of coercive measures and treat the management with dignity.
Please instruct the Deputy Commissioners and other line departments accordingly for the implementation of directions of hlon’ble Chief Minister under intimation to this Secretariat.
