In the wake of 01^st and 02^nd February, 2025 being the gazetted holidays, i.e, Saturday and Sunday Governor of the Punjab is pleased to approve that pay & allowances and pension of Government employees / pensioners of Government of the Punjab may be disbursed on 31^st January, 2025 (Friday), as provided in Note -1 below Rule 5.1 (1) (e). Punjab Financial Rules, Vol-l.

2.      Foregoing in view, you are requested to take further necessary action accordingly for disbursement of pay & allowances and pension on 31″ January, 2025 (Friday) positively.
