In response to these concerns, the competent authority has strictly directed all Deputy Commissioners (DCs) and Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) in Balochistan to prevent any form of road blockades and ensure the uninterrupted flow of traffic. The notification also highlights that district administration and law enforcement agencies (Police & Levies) must remain alert and take preventive measures to deter agitators from blocking main highways and link roads.
Additionally, the notification states that if any road remains blocked for more than six (06) hours, the concerned officers of the District Administration and Police will be held responsible for failing to maintain public order. This move signifies the government’s commitment to ensuring law and order while protecting public movement and economic activities.
