NOTIFICATION
No. SOI/ET&NCD/1(MRW)2024: In continuation of this Department’s Notification No. SOIV(Taxes)/ET&NCD/1(166)2024 dated 28-06-2024 and pursuant to the directive of the Senior Minister, Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Sindh, the NADRA Biometric Verification was made mandatory for new vehicle registrations in Sindh, which not only verifies the identity through its database by eliminating the risk of fraudulent activities and create a secure and transparent vehicle registration system, with effect from 01st July 2024.
2.               Now the NADRA Biometric Verification is mandatory for all transfer/alteration of vehicles, as per following timelines in best public interest: –
| Phase | Description | With Effect From |
| 2nd Phase | Mandatory Biometric Verification for Transfer / Alteration of vehicles will start for Buyers only | 1st November 2024 |
| 3rd Phase | Mandatory Biometric Verification for Transfer / Alteration of vehicles will start for Buyers & Sellers (Both) | 1st January 2025 |
