Subject: CHANGE OF SCHOOL TIMING U/S 6(1)(T) OF THE PUNJAB
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT, 1997
Kindly find enclosed herewith a copy of order No:91/DG/EPA/2024 dated 22.10.2024 received from Director General, Environment Protection Agency, Punjab, Lahore, wherein Director General Environment Protection Agency, Punjab in exercise of the powers conferred upon him under section 6(1)(t) of the Punjab Environmental Protection Act 1997 has ordered that the opening timing of all public and private schools within the territorial jurisdiction of District Lahore shall not be before 8:45 am w.e.f 28.10.2024.
2. I am, therefore directed to request you to ensure that orders of Environment Protection Agency Punjab regarding opening of school timing before 8:45 am w.e.f. 28th October, 2024 till 31st January, 2025 are fully adhered to and complied with, by all schools (public & private) in District Lahore.
