District Rawalpindi: Under Dengue Emergency Deputy Commissioner Issues Directives for Immediate Action – Notification

NOTIFICATION:

Keeping in view prevailing situation of Dengue cases in District Rawalpindi, the disease burden is increasing on daily basis and emergency measures are required to be taken, therefore on the recommendation of committee formed vide letter No. 11/PS, dated: 13.02.2023.

I, Hassan Waqar Cheema, Deputy Commissioner/ (Administrator District Health Authority Rawalpindi), do hereby declare “Dengue Emergency” in terms of Rule 59. (b) of Local Government (Contract) Rules-2003 to invoke the PPRA rules and direct to District Health Authority Rawalpindi, to take immediate action for Dengue preventive activities.
