Federal Rightsizing Initiative: Ministry of Energy Issues Timely Coordination:

In line with the Government of Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing efficiency and effectiveness within the Federal Government, the Ministry of Energy (Power Division) has issued an official notification, emphasizing the importance of timely and coordinated action in achieving institutional reforms. This memorandum addresses the Federal Rightsizing Committee’s agenda under the supervision of the Cabinet Division and the Sub-Committee on Rightsizing, aiming to streamline governmental functions through a structured approach to data collection and analysis.

As part of this initiative, the Institutional Reforms Cell has called for comprehensive and detailed inputs in Ms-Excel format, supplemented by a concise one-page brief. This step is crucial to ensuring that the Federal Government’s objectives for rightsizing and institutional reforms are met efficiently, fostering improved coordination and accountability across ministries. Subject :-       MEETING OF SUB-COMMITTEE ON RIGHTSIZING OF FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

            I am directed to refer to Cabinet Division’s (Institutional Reforms Cell) letter No. 1(202)/2024/IRC-III dated 23.01.2025 on the subject cited above and to state that requisite information in soft Ms-Excel on the format attached alongwith one page Brief maybe furnish to this Division by 24.01.2025 before 11:00 a.m. for onward submission to Cabinet Division.
