Government of Balochistan Appoints ISI as Special Vetting Agency for Security Clearance – Notification

NOTIFICATION

No.SORI-1(15)/2024/S&GAD/1452-1552. The Chief Minister Balochistan is pleased to notify the Directorate General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) as Special Vetting Agency (SVA) for verification and screening in the following areas :-

1. Verification/security clearance may be obtained from the SVA/ISI to the extent of promotions against the posts of BPS-19 and above;
2. Fresh appointments against BPS-17 posts may be subject to verification/screening from SVA;
3. The Competent Authority may seek Special Verification/ security clearance from SVA for postings against the post of Administrative Secretary, Divisional Commissioner, Head of Attached Department and Deputy Commissioner;
4. The Competent Authority may, from time to time on receipt of complaints, or on its ownaccord, get report viz-a-viz conduct of an officer, from the SVA.
