Islamabad Announces Emergency Closure of Educational Institutions – Check Official Notification:

In a sudden move, the District Magistrate of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) has issued an urgent notification regarding the closure of all public and private educational institutions on 9^th and 10^th May 2025 due to security concerns. This decision impacts schools, colleges, universities, and training institutes across Islamabad. However, internal and external examinations, including international exams, will continue as scheduled.

With rising public safety concerns, the government has taken this precautionary measure to ensure the security of students and staff. Parents, students, and educational authorities are advised to stay updated with official government notifications for further developments. Please find notification:

Notification

                        Due to the prevailing security situation, it is hereby notified that all the public &private educational institutes (Schools / Colleges / Universities / Training Institutes) within the jurisdiction of Islamabad Capital Territory shall remain closed on 09^th & 10^th May, 2025 (Friday & Saturday).

                        However, all internal/external examinations (including International Examinations) will proceed as planned on 09^th & 10^th May, 2025 and shall not be affected by this closure.
