The terms of reference of the Committee shall be:
- To consider, approve, oversee development projects of the devolved tiers of the concerned districts amounting to above PKR 100 million and up to PKR 200 million only in case of capital cost.
- To assess suitability and accord approval to the projects submitted by the concerned districts for revised approval beyond their financial competencies.
- To recommend projects of the devolved tiers of respective jurisdiction beyond the financial competency of RDC to DDWP of concerned department.
- To ensure that the projects being considered are not in duplication with any other similar new/on-going projects.
- To ensure that the investment being proposed in the development projects is aligned with the approved development guidelines of the provincial government and other such guidelines issued from time to time viz-a-viz sectoral budgetary allocations.
- To ensure that the projects being considered are promoting regional equitable distribution of resources with focus on ensuring value for money.
- To ensure that no foreign funded project/subsidy-based projects are considered.
