Launch of Employer Portal for Intern Placement Under CM Internship Program-Youth Affairs and Sports Department Notification

Subject:   LAUNCHING OF EMPLOYER PORTAL FOR REGISTRATION ORGANIZATIONS / DEPARTMENT FOR PLACEMENT OF INTERNS UNDER THE CHIEF MINISTER’S INTERNSHIP PROGRAM (CMIP)

I am writing to introduce you to the Chief Minister Internship Program (CMIP), a flagshipinitiative by the Government of Punjab aimed at empowering the youth of Punjab by offering  paid internships in order to equip them with professional skills & practical experience for obtaining better employment opportunities. The key features of the Chief Minister Internship Program (CMIP) are as follow:

                        The registration process for candidates has been started from 28th August, 2024 and the deadline for same is up 30^th September, 2024. It is worth mentioning here that up till now more than 9500 candidates have applied for the Internship program having degrees ranging from Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Food Sciences, Biotechnology, Economics, Psychology to various Engineering fields. We also have a cohort of applicants from technical diploma disciplines like Associate Engineers, Medical Lab Technology, Livestock Assistant and others.

3.                     Recently, Employer’s Portal for the CM Internship Program has been launched on 20^th September 2024. This portal will allow your department to easily sign up, specify the number and type of interns that department can accommodate. I request you to register your department on the CMIP portal (i.e. https://cmip.punjab.gov.pk/) to submit the demand for interns who may be placed in various sections of your department. The deadline for submitting the demand for interns is 5th October, 2024.
