In an official notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Bahawalpur, Dr. Farhan Farooq, 27^th February 2025 (Thursday) has been declared a local holiday in the district. In exercise of powers conferred upon me vide Notification No. SOW-I (S&GAD) 1-4/2018 (P-V) dated 13.01.2025 issued by the Government of the Punjab, Services & General Administration Department, Lahore, I, Dr. Farhan Farooq, Deputy Commissioner, Bahawalpur, hereby declare 27th February, 2025 (Thursday) as Local Holiday in Bahawalpur District in connection with celebration of Annual Urs / Mela of Channan Peer, in the revenue limits of District Bahawalpur.
