Ensuring Safety & Efficiency: MEPCO Enforces Annual Medical Fitness Certification:
The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) has issued a directive aimed at maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency by ensuring the annual medical fitness of its Lorry Drivers. As per the decision of the MEPCO Board of Directors in its 140th meeting held on October 7, 2018, and subsequent notifications, it is mandatory for all Lorry Drivers working under various departments of MEPCO to obtain an Annual Medical Fitness Certificate (AMFC). This initiative reflects MEPCO’s commitment to upholding the health and safety of its employees while ensuring the seamless operation of its transportation fleet. Addressed to all Managers, Superintending Engineers (SEs), Project Directors, and other relevant officials, the directive emphasizes adherence to the timeline and guidelines for submission. This process not only reinforces MEPCO’s focus on accountability but also aligns with its overarching goal of delivering reliable and uninterrupted power services. Notification Describes;

Subject :- ANNUAL MEDICAL FITNESS CERTIFICATE-2025.
In pursuance of MEPCO BOD decision taken in its 140 meeting held on 07.10.2018, agenda item NO.9(Xii) notified by Company Secretary MEPCO Multan vide letter No. 30787-30812 dated 19.10.2018 and in the light of Dy. Director (HRM) MEPCO HQs Multan Office Order No. 545-T/45353-65/CE/MEPCO/EA-11/PF-COD dated 26.10.2018, all Lorry Drivers of your office / sub-ordinate offices, be directed to obtain Annual Medical Fitness Certificate (AMFC) from WAPDA Hospital, Multan and forward to this office upto 17.02.2025 for further process.
All the heads of formations are requested to ensure submission of Original Medical Fitness Certificates of Lorry Drivers in consolidated form with abstract including formation-wise names & numbers of lorry drivers. A soft copy may also be sent through adtransport@mepco.com.pk (in.xlsx format).
Note: – This office will not receive medical fitness certificate of Drivers directly from the sub-office in piece-meal. Please intimate all sub offices and Lorry Drivers under your control accordingly.
