Subject: SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY.
Memo:
In continuation to this office letter no. 6373/OPS-I dated 27.07.2023 refer to this office the subject cited above.
2.   It has been directed by the authority dud following directions must be complied with in letter and spirit with regard to use of Social Media Platforms:
- Without DPO/Unit Head permission, no social media activity in uniform shall be carried out.
- No personal, political or religious viewscan he shared by police personnel on various social media platform.
- Official channel regarding police activities shall only be run by DPO/Unit head.
- Use of Police vehicles and offices shall not he allowed by private persons for any social media activity.
3.    RPOs/Unit heads shall he personally responsible for enforcement of this social media policy, please.
