Notification-Finance Department, Government of Balochistan Announces Adhoc Relief Allowance-2024 for Government Employees of Balochistan

Dated Quetta the 24^th July, 2024.

NOTIFICATION.

NO.FD(R-I) V-I/2024/1072-1172. The Government of Balochistan Finance Department, with prior approval of the Competent Authority is pleased to sanction, with effect from 1^st July, 2024 and until further orders, an Adhoc Relief Allowance – 2024 in favour of all regular Provincial Government employees in Basic Pay Scales on standard terms & conditions as per the following rates:

1. BPS-1 to BPS-16 @25% of Running Basic Pay Scale
2. BPS-17 and above @20% of Running Basic Pay Scale

2. The amount of this Adhoc Relief Allowance-2024 shall be subject to the following terms and conditions:

1. Income Tax;
2. Admissible during leave and the entire period of LPR except during extraordinary leave;
3. Not be treated as part of emoluments for the purpose of calculation of Pension / Gratuity and recovery of House Rent;
4. The employees will not this this allowance during the tenure of their posting/deputation abroad; and
5. Admissible to the employees on their repatriation form postings/deputation aboard at the rate of the amount that would have been admissible to them had they not been posted abroad.

3. The term “Basic Pay” for the purpose of Adhoc Relief Allowance-2024 will also include the amount of the personal pay granted on account of annual increments (s) beyond the maximum of the existing pay scale.

4. The expenditure for Adhoc Relief Allwoacne-2024 will be adjusted within budgetary allocation and any excess expenditure for the purpose will be adjusted in Revised Budget Estimates 2024-25 without any supplementary grant on this account.
