Pakistan Post Announces 2,429 Vacant Posts for Departmental Promotions (BPS-1 to BPS-16) – Deadline Set for 25th September 2024-Notification

SUBJECT: – MATTER PERTAINING TO THE HOLDING OF DEPARTMENTAL PROMOTIONAL AGAINST THE VACANT POST IN BPS-1 TO BPS-16.

I am directed to refer to the subject above and inform you that a review of the establishment and verification of the exact vacancy position is currently underway at the Directorate General. According to the vacancy details provided by Circle Offices, a total of 2,429 posts (BPS-1 to 16) are vacant under the promotional quota.

In view of this, the competent authority has instructed all Heads of Circles to complete the promotion of eligible officials at all levels by 25-09-2024.

Furthermore, the competent authority has directed that the promotion process be personally supervised by the PMGs and carried out in strict compliance with the relevant rules and regulations, ensuring completion within the stipulated time frame.
