Pakistan Railways Announces 10% Fare Reduction for All AC Classes and Passenger Trains-Notification

Subject:           10% REDUCTION IN FARE OF ALL AC CLASSES AND ONLY PASSENGER TRAINS

It is notified for the information and guidance of all concerned that the competent authority i.e., CEO/Sr. General Manager has been pleased to rationalization/reduce 10% (Ten Percent) fare in all AC Classes of all trains and only passenger trains operated by Pakistan Railway with effect from Monday 23^rd September, 2024.

Director /I.T is requested to implement the 10% (Ten Percent) decrease in all AC Classes on advance reservation. The Divisional Superintendents are requested to implement the updated Fare Table enforced with effect from Monday 23^{rd .}September, 2024 at all concerned stations & booking/reservation offices according. The Fare Table will be available at PR website. The fare will be rounded off according to letter No.2-M&R/8029/Rates issued by this office on 01-03-2019.

It is requested to repeat above instructions to all booking and reservation offices as well as at all stations to ensure compliance. If any discrepancy is noticed by the concerned station/commercial staff, it should be reported to the office of CMM as well as Director/ IT through concerned DCO s within 7 days. In case of non-reporting of any noticed discrepancy, the concerned staff shall be held responsible.
