Punjab School Education Department Declares Eid Holidays – Schools to Reopen on April 7:
The Government of Punjab has officially declared Eid-ul-Fitr holidays for all public schools across the province. According to the latest government notification, all schools in Punjab will remain closed from March 28 to April 6, 2025 (Friday to Sunday), and will reopen on April 7, 2025 (Monday).
However, the notification also mentions that academic and non-academic staff must be present on April 4, 2025, for the announcement of results. All Chief Executive Officers (DEAs) in Punjab have been instructed to ensure compliance with this directive.

No.SO(A-1)1-31/2022: Competent Authority is pleased to announce that all Public Schools in the Province of Punjab shall remain closed from Friday 28.03.2025 until Sunday 06.04.2025. All schools in the province shall reopen with effect from Monday, 07.04.2025.
2. However, academic and non-academic staff will remain present for the announcement of result on Friday, 04.04.2025 during this period.
3. All Chief Executive Officers (DEAS) in Punjab are directed to ensure compliance of the orders.
