DPI Punjab Calls for Immediate Submission of Female Promotion Cases – Govt Colleges Alert:
The Directorate of Public Instruction (Colleges), Punjab, has officially issued a Government Notification requiring the urgent submission of promotion cases for Assistant Professors (BS-18) to be elevated to the rank of Associate Professors (BS-19) under the General Cadre (Female Section).
As per the notification, all Directors of Education (Colleges) across Punjab are directed to submit promotion dossiers for candidates listed from Seniority No. 01/G to 250/G, categorized into deferred/fresh and scrutiny-based cases. Each case must include complete documentation such as PERs (up to 2024), quantification charts, no audit para certificates, academic result comparisons, and mandatory promotion-linked training certificates.
This move is a vital step in the promotion process of female college faculty and is being treated with top priority. The deadline for submission is 15th April 2025 (Tuesday), and all documentation must be complete to avoid delays in scrutiny. Please find notification:

SUBJECT: SUBMISSION OF PROMOTION CASES OF ASSISTANT PROFESSORS (US-18) TO THE RANK OF ASSOCIATE PROFESSORS (BS-19) GENERAL CADRE (FEMALE SECTION)
Kindly refer to the subject cited above.
You are directed to provide the original PER for the year 2024 alongwith relevant documents/quantification chart/fresh No Enquiry, No Demand, No Audit Para, No Punishment certificates, L.P.R. status and last three years results compared with Board/University in respect of Assistant Professors (Female) from Seniority No. 01/G to 215/G (Deferred/fresh cases) according to the Seniority list of Assistant Professors (Female) General Cadre as it stood 10-11-2024.
The promotion cases of Assistant Professors (BS-18) are required for the scrutiny purpose from Seniority No. 216/G to 250/G. The said cases may be please prepared and submitted to this office till 15-04-2025 (Tuesday) positively. The promotion cases complete in respect alongwith the following documents must be reached within stipulated period.
1. Original CR/Dossier upto 2024.
2. Quantification Chart upto 2024 (03 copies).
3. Synopsis of PERS upto 2024 (10 copies).
4. Copy of CNIC.
5. No enquiry, No demand, No punishment, No adverse remarks, No Audit Para certificates duly countersigned by the concerned D.E.C/D.D.C.
6. Last three years results duly compared with Board/University duly countersigned by the concerned D.E.C/D.D.C.
7. Mandatory Promotion Linked Training certificates/results.
8. Promotion order/joining report as Lecturer (regular) and Assistant Professor (BS-18).
This may be dealt with on top priority basis within stipulated period.
