Promotion of BS-17 to BS-18 Officers in Punjab – Important Updates Issued:
The Directorate of Public Instruction (SE), Punjab, Lahore has officially released an important notification regarding the promotion cases of BS-17 officers to BS-18 (Male). The notification, dated March 24, 2025, outlines the observations and queries raised during the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting held on December 24, 2024.
The Punjab government has stressed the importance of completing the required documentation for the officers under consideration. In some cases, officers have been cleared for promotion, provided they submit missing documents such as B.Ed degrees, PERs (Performance Evaluation Reports), and LPR sanction statuses.
All concerned officers must submit the required documents within fifteen (15) days to the Directorate of Public Instruction (SE), Punjab to ensure timely processing of their promotions. Failure to comply may result in delays or disqualification from the promotion process.

Reference to Govt. letter No. SO (P-11)6-5/2025 (M) dated 06-02-2025 on the subject cited above.
It is submitted that the promotion cases from BS-17 to BS-18 of the following officers was discussed in the D.P.C. meeting held on 24-12-2024 and raised the following deficiencies/documents in their service record/C.R. Dossier i.e mentioned against their names: –
