Eid Holidays Announced for Punjab Colleges: March 28 to April 2, 2025:
The Government of Punjab has officially announced a six-day public holiday for all public and private colleges under the Higher Education Department on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr 2025. According to the official notification, all colleges across Punjab will remain closed from March 28 to April 2, 2025 (Friday to Wednesday), allowing students and faculty to celebrate the joyous festival with their families.
However, the notification clarifies that all scheduled examinations under various Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) in Punjab will continue as per their announced schedules. Students appearing for exams should stay updated and follow the official announcements from their respective boards. No.SO(EM-I)MISC/2025. Pursuant to the directions of the Competent Authority, it is notified for all concerned that 28-03-2025 to 02-04-2025 (Friday to Wednesday) shall be observed as Public Holidays in all Public & Private Colleges of Higher Education Department in the Punjab on the occasion of “EID-UL-FITR”.
02. Furthermore, all examinations shall be held as per the notified schedules of all BISES in Punjab.
