SUBJECT- STRICT COMPLIANCE OF THE DIRECTIONS REGARDING NOTIFICATION ISSUED FOR TIMING OF SCHOOLS

- I am directed to inform that the competent authority has observed that in some schools, teachers / staff are not following the timing of schools as per notification already issued by School Education Department vide No SO(A-I)1-31/2022, dated 11th August, 2024 (copy attached) wherein it is clearly mentioned that teachers will prepare and formulate Lesson Plans for classes, continuous Professional Development (CPD), trainings, academic & co-curricular activities, etc. during enhanced school hours and on alternate Saturday. Moreover, teams from School Education Department are conducting surprise visit of schools.
- I am further directed to request you to ensure the implementation of the above said directions in true letter and spirit and also disseminate the directions at all levels for strict adherence. No laxity will be tolerated under any circumstances.
