SUBJECT: REGISTRATION OF FARMERS TENANTS OF SINDH UNDER BENAZIR HARI CARD (BHC) PROGRAMME.
I am directed to refer to your Letter No. PD/SWAT/2024 /462 dated 16.09.2024 whereby, it is desired to send the data of Sindh Tenants registered through Form-VI (tenants) of the Revenue Department Government of Sindh as required in facilitation the registration of landlord and tenants under the BHC program.
In this regard, it is informed that VF-VI and Field Book (Crop InspectionRegister) contain the names of Haries (Farmers) who cultivate the land of Zamindars (Landlords) which are prepared during Kharif and Rabi seasons. In each season, the data of Hari is revised after crop inspection in the field. Under the Tenancy Act, 1950, the name of only permanent tenant is to be recorded / entered in the record to enable to resolve the dispute between the landlord and the tenant through a Tribunal established under the Act, ibid. Hence, it is not clear as to which data of Farmers / Tenants is required.
It is therefore requested to please send a proforma of required data Farmer / Tenant to this office at the earliest so that the same may be obtained from the Deputy Commissioners for onward transmission to your office.
