Subject:                REVISION OF DEPUTATION/ADDITIONAL CHARGE ALLOWANCE/SPECIAL PAY ON CURRENT CHARGE

The President has been pleased to sanction the revision of rates of Deputation/Additional Charge Allowance/Special Pay on Current Charge” with effect from 1stJuly, 2023 for the civil employees of the Federal Government, paid out of civil estimates and from the Defence estimates. The rates of Deputation/Additional Charge Allowance/Special Pay on Current Charge shall be revised as follows:

Ii	Special Allowance on Additional Charge of Identical Posts	20% of the Basic Pay subject to maximum Rs.12,000/-	20% of the Basic Pay subject to maximum Rs.20,000/-
Iii	Special Allowance on Additional Charge of Non-Identical Posts	10% of the Basic Pay subject to maximum Rs.12,000/-	10% of the Basic Pay subject to maximum Rs.20,000/-
iv	Special Pay on Current Charge	20% of the Basic Pay subject to maximum Rs.12,000/-	20% of the Basic Pay subject to maximum Rs.20,000/-
