School and Madaaris Councils to be Constituted and Notified for Taken-Over Institutions-Notification

SUBJECT:     NOTIFYING SCHOOL AND MADAARIS COUNCILS

I am directed to refer to the Financial and Management Plan of School Education Department about taken-over institutions issued vide letter No. SO(A-1)1-1/Misc/2019 dated 15.05.2019 on the subject noted above.

2.                     I am further directed to refer to Para 4 (a) of the said plan which states as under:-

        (a)       Constitution of School Councils

The District Education Authority may constitute School Councils in these schools immediately with the following composition:-

• The Administrator (DEA) shall set-up a School Management Council comprising five (05) members for each school and Madaaris respectively:-
• Administrator                                                 01
• Head Teacher             Senior Member           01
• Teacher                       Member                       01
• Parents                        Members                     02
• The School Council for these schools shall be notified by the District Education Authority.
• Till the time the School Councils are not fully functional the Administrators will be responsible to keep the Institution operational / functional and disburse the payment on account of outstanding expenditures well in time.

3.                     In view of the above, I am directed to request you to submit duly notified School and Madaaris Councils of your respective district’s Taken-over Institutions, to this Directorate, within three days Positively, without fail.
