Sindh Government Reconstitutes Departmental Promotion Committee:
The Government of Sindh’s School Education & Literacy Department has officially reconstituted the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) to oversee promotions from BPS-16 to BPS-18. This decision follows the SGA&CD (Regulation Wing) Circular dated March 7, 2022, and the SGA&CD advice dated January 17, 2025. The restructuring aims to streamline the promotion process within the School Education & Literacy Department, ensuring fair and merit-based career advancements.
The newly formed DPC will be responsible for evaluating promotion cases of eligible officers across various directorates under the School Education & Literacy Department. The committee comprises high-ranking officials, including the Secretary of the Department as Chairman, along with additional secretaries, directors, and section officers as members. Their primary role is to ensure a transparent and efficient promotion process, thereby improving administrative efficiency in the education sector.
This reconstitution reflects the Sindh government’s commitment to enhancing the career progression of educators and administrative personnel working under the department. No.SO(SEC-II)1-513(Misc)/2025:– In pursuance of SGA&CD (Regulation Wing) Circular dated 07-03-2022 and SGA&CD advice No.SORI(SGA&CD)3-91/2025 dated 17-01-2025, and with the approval of competent authority, the School Education & Literacy Department is pleased to re-constitute Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) comprising of following members to consider the Promotion to BPS-16, BPS-17 and BPS-18 working under various offices Directorates of School Education & Literacy Department:-
