WAPDA Updates Financial Assistance Package: Enhanced Support for Families of Deceased Employees-Notification

OFFICE ORDER

Subject:- FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PACKAGE FOR THE FAMILIES OF WAPDA EMPLOYEES WHO DIE IN SERVICE

Ref:-               This Division’s O.O No. FO(B&F)/37-9/Vol-97/4894-4993 dated 21.06.2018.

                   The Authority has been pleased to approve the following amendments in subject cited Financial Assistance Package:-

Accommodation	Retention of available WAPDA accommodation irrespective of entitlement or in case of non-availability of WAPDA’s accommodation, payment of acquired house as per policy in vogue in WAPDA till the age of superannuation.
Education	Free education to all the children of the deceased employees up to graduation in any public/government/WAPDA educational institution including expenses of tuition fee, books related material and living allowance etc.
Employment	Employment for posts in BPS-01 to BPS-15 on regular basis without advertisement. If the applicant fails to pass the aptitude/skill test required for a specific post,  the opportunity of Regular Appointment shall be extended to next lower post.
Marriage Grant	Amount of marriage grant upto Rs. 8 lac for family of deceased WAPDA employees (BPS 1 to 16) to be equally distributed among all the un-married daughters of deceased WAPDA employee and relevant share will be disbursed on the wedding of each daughter.

2.         This order is effective from 01.07.2024.
