National Flag to Fly at Half-Mast in Balochistan on 8th February to Honor Prince Karim Aga Khan–Government Issued Notification:

The Government of Balochistan has officially declared Saturday, 8th February 2025, as a Day of National Mourning to honor the sad demise of His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan. This decision follows the Government of Pakistan’s Cabinet Division notification, expressing deep sorrow on behalf of the people and government of Balochistan.

As part of the mourning, the National Flag of Pakistan will be flown at half-mast throughout the province. The administration has also directed local newspapers and electronic media to ensure widespread coverage of this announcement.

Prince Karim Aga Khan was a revered global figure known for his contributions to humanitarian work, education, and socio-economic development. In pursuance of Government of Pakistan, Cabinet Division, Islamabad’s Notification No.10-1/2025-Min.II dated 06th February, 2025 and expressing profound grief on behalf of Government and people of Balochistan on the sad demise of His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan, the Government of Balochistan has declared a day of national mourning through the province on Saturday, the 8th February, 2025, on the occasion of the funeral of His Highness. The National Flag of Pakistan shall fly at half-mast throughout the province on the 8th of February, 2025.
