Local Holiday Declared in Jamshoro for 773^rd Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar:

The Deputy Commissioner of Jamshoro has officially declared Monday, 17^th February 2025 as a local holiday in observance of the 773^rd Annual Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar (R.A). The notification states that the holiday applies within the limits of District Jamshoro to allow devotees and the general public to participate in the religious and cultural celebrations of the great Sufi saint.

Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, one of the most revered Sufi saints of the subcontinent, is widely celebrated for his message of love, peace, and spirituality. His Urs, held annually in Sehwan Sharif, Sindh, attracts thousands of devotees from across Pakistan and beyond. The event features spiritual gatherings, dhamaal (Sufi dance), recitations, and various cultural activities in honor of the saint.

On the occasion of 773^rd Annual Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalander (R.A), the 18^th of Sha’aban 1446 Hijri i.e. Monday 17^th February 2025 is hereby declared as a Local Holiday within the limits of District Jamshoro.
