Sindh Government Takes Steps to Ensure Transparency in Land Records:
The Government of Sindh’s Revenue Department has issued a new notification reconstituting the Scrutiny Committee responsible for examining reconstructed and rewritten land records across various districts. This move aims to enhance transparency, prevent land disputes, and ensure accurate documentation in the province.
As per the Board of Revenue Sindh’s latest notification, the committee will be composed of high-ranking officials, including Member (Judicial-II), Director (E&I), Deputy Secretary (Land Utilization), Assistant Director (PRC), and Survey Superintendent. Their primary responsibility will be to scrutinize records and submit their findings to the Board of Revenue Sindh.
The reconstitution of this committee is a crucial step in maintaining accurate land ownership records and ensuring fair property transactions across Sindh. Citizens, landowners, and legal professionals must stay updated with such important government notifications to ensure compliance with the latest regulations.

No.08/2023/RC/Rev-I(II)/ 119 In partial modification of this Department’s Notification No. 08/2023/RC/Rev-I(II)/605 dated 08.10.2024, the Board of Revenue Sindh is pleased to re-constitute the Scrutiny Committee (by designation) comprising of following Officers to make scrutiny of the reconstructed / re-written record of rights of the remaining Districts and to furnish its findings / recommendations thereon to the Board of Revenue Sindh:-
