Ensure Compliance with Zakat Deduction Guidelines:
The Zakat deduction process is a significant step in fulfilling Islamic financial obligations and supporting those in need. With the Nisab set at Rs. 179,689, individuals and businesses should check their account balances to determine if they qualify for Zakat deduction.
Banks and financial institutions are expected to deduct Zakat at source and deposit it into the Central Zakat Account as per the government’s directive. To avoid any discrepancies, account holders who do not wish to have Zakat deducted must submit an exemption declaration (CZ-50 form) before the deadline.
