Eid-ul-Azha Holidays Announced in Sindh – Official Government Notification Issued:
The Government of Sindh has officially announced a four-day public holiday across the province on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha 2025, as per a newly issued government notification dated 5th June 2025. According to the Services, General Administration & Coordination Department (SGA&CD), all government offices, autonomous bodies, semi-autonomous institutions, local councils, and corporations under Sindh Government’s control will remain closed from Friday, 6th June to Monday, 9th June 2025.
This notification ensures that the people of Sindh can observe Eid-ul-Azha with religious zeal and family togetherness. However, essential services will continue to function without interruption during these holidays. NOTIFICATION
NO.CTC(SGA&CD)3(27)/2009: The Government of Sindh declares 06th to 09th June, 2025 (Friday to Monday) as Public Holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha 2025 throughout the Province of Sindh for all Government offices, Autonomous Bodies, Semi- Autonomous Bodies, Corporations and Local Councils under the Administrative Control of Government of Sindh, except essential services.
