Subject:                     GUIDANCE REGARDING MONTHLY PAYMENT OF LEAVE ENCASHMENT IN LIEU OF REFUSED LPR

With the Section Officer (Budget-1), Government of the Punjab, School Education Department, kindly refer to his letter hearing No.SO(Budget-1)1-26/2023, dated 21st June, 2024 on the subject noted above?

2.                     The ease has been examined. Attention of the Administrative Department is drawn towards Rule 17(2) through 1(e) amended vide Notification of Finance Department bearing No.FD.SR.II/2-97/2019 dated 01.06.2023, hence, leave encashment in lieu of refused LPR shall be paid @ initial  pay of the pay scale on monthly basis in addition to monthly pay.
