Subject:- GUIDANCE REGARDING MONTHLY PAYMENT OF LEAVE ENCASHMENT IN LIEU OF REFUSED LPR.
I am directed to refer to your letter No.1810/B&A dated 04.06.2024 on the subject noted above and to enclose herewith a copy of U.O. letter No. FD(SR-II)2-36/2024 dated 09.09.204 received from Section Officer (SR-II), Finance Department.
2.                         The case was forwarded to the Finance Department. The Finance Department has advised that attention is drawn towards Rule 17(2) through 1(c) amended vide Notification of Finance Department bearing No.FD.SR.11/2-97/2019 dated 01.06.2023, hence, leave encashment in Ilea of refused LPR shall be paid @ initial Pay of the pay scale on monthly basis in addition to monthly pay.
