The Directorate of Elementary & Secondary Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued an important notification regarding the posting and transfer of ministerial staff (BPS-11 to BPS-15). This new directive affects school and office staff under the department’s jurisdiction and follows the secretaries’ committee meeting held on February 28, 2025.

As per the notification, staff members who have completed more than two years in their current positions are subject to transfers between schools and offices. The department has instructed all District Education Officers (DEOs) to implement this policy accordingly. Furthermore, transfers between DEOs require prior approval from the Directorate.

Memo,

               I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to ask you to initiate and issue transfer/posting of staff (Ministerial cadre BPS-11 to BPS-15) in your jurisdiction encompassing transfers between schools and the offices, and vice versa under intimation to this office, in compliance to secretaries committee meeting held on February 28, 2025, pertaining the posting/transfer of staff whose tenure exceeds two years.

Note: -Posting/transfer between DEO’s (M/F) falls under the domain of this Directorate office and should be submitted to this office for further action/order.
