SEPCO Announces Honorarium for All Employees for the Financial Year 2024-25:
In a recent resolution by the Board of Directors (BOD) of Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO), it was announced that all SEPCO employees will receive an honorarium equivalent to one month’s basic pay for the financial year 2024-25. The decision was made during the 258th BOD meeting held on 26th March 2025. The honorarium will be applicable to a wide range of employees, including regular, contract, deputation, daily wages, part-time, and lump sum package employees, provided they have been on the company’s payroll for at least six months.
However, there are certain conditions for eligibility. Employees who are involved in departmental inquiries related to issues like corruption, fraud, or misconduct, or who are under investigation by NAB/FIA, will not be eligible. Additionally, employees on extraordinary leave or deputation outside SEPCO will also not be entitled to the honorarium. Please find the notification:

SUBJECT: GRANT OF ONE MONTH BASIC PAY AS HONORARIUM TO ALL SEPCO EMPLOYEES-2024-25
The Board of Director SEPCO vide Company Secretary Board Resolution No. 1640-55/D-333/CS/ BOD/ SEPCO/ AG-11 (2025) dated 26.03.2025 has approved the grant of one month basic as honorarium to all SEPCO employees – 2024-25, is hereby conveyed on the following standard terms & conditions:
Employees penalized with a major penalty during FY 2024-25 will not be entitled.
Honorarium will be applicable to all employees (Regular, Contract, Deputation, Daily Wages, Part-Time, and Lump Sum Package) who have been on SEPCO’s payroll for at least six months as of the BOD SEPCO’s approval date.
The officers appointed on lump-sum pay package would be allowed Honorarium at the rate of 70% of their pay package.
Daily Wages and Part-Time employees must have been originally appointed at least one year before the BoD’s approval date. They would be allowed Honorarium equivalent to minimum of pay scale of their posts.
Employees on Extra Ordinary Leave or Deputation outside SEPCO/abroad will not be eligible.
Employees involved in departmental inquiries (for the financial year 2024-25) related to corruption, electricity theft, embezzlement, fraud, misconduct, or under NAB/FIA investigations will not be eligible. However, those later exonerated will qualify.

SEPCO has granted a one-month honorarium to all its employees for the financial year 2024-25, according to a decision made in the recent meeting of the Board of Directors (BOD). The honorarium, approved on 26th March 2025, will be applicable to all employees on SEPCO’s payroll for at least six months before the approval date. Employees working on lump sum pay packages will receive 70% of their pay package as the honorarium.
The honorarium will not be granted to employees under investigation for corruption, misconduct, or similar offenses, nor to those on extraordinary leave or deputation. This honorarium is seen as a measure to recognize the efforts and dedication of SEPCO employees during the financial year.
