In exercise of powers conferred under Article 242 of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. 1973, read with Section 3 (3) and 4 (1) of Federal Public Service Commission Ordinance. 1977, (as amended), the President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, is pleased to appoint Lt. Gen. Akhtar Nawaz Satti, HI (M), as Chairman of Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC), for a period of three years or till he attains the age of sixty-five (65) years, whichever is earlier, with effect from the date of his retirement.
