New Reduced School Timings In Punjab Due To Severe Heatwave-Notification

NOTIFICATION

No. SO(A-I)-31/2022: In the wake of severe weather, it is hereby notified that following School timings shall be observed in all Public and Private Schools in the Province of Punjab with effect from 18^thMay to 31^stMay, 2024.

DAYS	TIMINGS
Monday to Thursday & Saturday Friday	7:00 am to 11:30 am 7:00 am to 10:30 am

2. Following precautionary measures shall also be taken by heads of schools:

1. All fans should in working condition in schools.
2. Availability of water coolers shall be ensured.
3. No student in any school throughout the province is shall be made to sit in open space / lawn of the school during summer time.

3. Chief Executive Officers (DEAs), Heads of institutions are directed to ensure compliance of the above in true letter & spirit.
