Paid Internship Program for BSN Students: Sindh Nursing Colleges Request Sanction for Slots with Equal Salary to BPS-16 Staff Nurse-Notification

Subject:           REQUEST FOR SANCTION SLOTS WITH PAID INTERNSHIP EQUAL TO BASIC SALARY OF STAFF NURSE BPS-16 FOR 04 YEARS BSN STUDENT AS PER RULES OF PAKISTAN NURSING COUNCIL & MIDWIFERY

References:    Letter No: DNSK/F.III ( ) 4646/4648 Dated: 20^th Dec 2022 on the subject noted above.

I have the honour to submit to the letter under reference and to state that there are 1075 numbers of sanctioned seats in total 19 Public Sector Nursing Colleges in Sindh. After completion of fourth year Generic BSN Graduate degree, Paid Internship may be started equal to basic salary of Staff Nurse (BS-16) amounting to Rs. 30,000/- per month for each internee as given by NICH Karachi & JPMC Karachi.

After successful completion of the four years in the undergraduate nursing program, student must Spend 52 weeks of hospital based internship period in a PN&MC recognized hospital that can offer a PN&MC specified clinical experiences to meets the objectives of the internship program. The recommendation the student should be paid scholarship /stipend equal to basic salary of staff nurse as per rules of Pakistan Nursing & Midwife, Council (PNC&MC)(52 weeks) one year paid internship will be given.
