Promotion Process Begins for Assistant Professors in Sindh – BS-18 to BS-19 Transition Underway:

In a recent development aimed at career progression within the College Education Department Sindh, the Government of Sindh has formally initiated the process of promoting Assistant Professors (BS-18) to Associate Professors (BS-19).

As per the latest Government Notification dated 12th May 2025, the department has directed the Director General Colleges, Sindh and all Regional Directors of Colleges to urgently submit the Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs) for the year 2024 and quantification data for eligible male and female candidates appearing on the seniority lists.

This move impacts male Assistant Professors listed from Serial No. 01 to 160 (2023 list) and female Assistant Professors listed from Serial No. 01 to 60 (2024 list). The purpose of this submission is for onward processing to the Services General Administration & Coordination Department (SGA&CD) for final action.

Timely submission of these records is crucial, as the department has emphasized a 3-day deadline. All concerned officers are advised to act promptly to ensure they don’t miss this promotion cycle. Please find notification:
